A highly successful exhibition – More exhibitors than ever.

The 12th WerbeWiesn on 11 September 2019 was attended by a total of 827 visitors – more than ever before. EIDEX VIP customers were welcomed to the ‘Watzmann Lounge‘, which was inspired by the homeland of our CEO, Thomas Gottschall. Each kitted out with a white, waterproof HALFAR sports bag, they then made their way through the exhibition to see the 132 brand exhibitors. In a typical Bavarian atmosphere, and with great interest and enthusiasm, the guests encountered all manner of innovative publicity materials and bonus items. The exhibitors in turn explained the functionality of both new and established products and pointed out their possibilities.

The traditional tapping of the first beer barrel took place at 12 o’clock sharp. The barrel of Hofbräu beer was opened by Thomas Gottschall, while presenter Patrick Haendly kept the excitement in the room at a high level.  The rich and varied lunch buffet commenced with the words “O’zapft is, auf eine schöne WerbeWiesn” (“The beer is tapped! To a great WerbeWiesn!”). All those present enjoyed pleasant conversation in the cosy Bavarian atmosphere of the beer garden stage complete with a real mountain hut and maypole.

We are extremely satisfied with the exhibition’s success, not to mention the many interesting contacts we made and the great number of visitors – and we would like to express our sincere thanks for the nearly 15,000  enquiries we have received.
